Hi, my name is Mia Andrade. I am a motivated student actively involved in College Track, National Beta Club, and other academic programs that continually challenge me to grow. In addition to school, I’m a teen florist and small business owner, which has taught me responsibility, time management, and creativity.

I have always enjoyed working with children. I  tutor K–8 grade students over the past several years.  This experiences has helped me learn how to support learners with patience, encouragement, and care. I love helping children understand what they’re learning while building confidence in themselves and their abilities.

I am the founder of The Nânân Childcare, where I support children, families, and educators through tutoring, STEAM enrichment, social-emotional learning, and professional development. I am also a children’s author and creator of engaging SEL and STEAM resources designed to help children build confidence, emotional awareness, and a love for learning. My work is rooted in whole-child development, culturally responsive practices, and creating joyful, meaningful learning experiences.

I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential by providing instruction and support tailored to their individual academic needs. I work with Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade students, with a strong focus on reading comprehension, math skills, and test preparation, while building confidence and solid foundational learning skills.

Hello, My Name is Candice Brown. I’m a passionate early literacy tutor who loves helping young learners build confidence in reading and writing. I focus on phonemic awareness, helping children hear, recognize, and work with the sounds that are the building blocks of reading. I also support pre-writing and writing skills, from strengthening pencil control and letter formation to helping children become more comfortable expressing their ideas on paper.

I believe every child learns at their own pace, so I create a patient, encouraging, and positive learning environment where children can grow their skills, celebrate their progress, and feel proud of what they can do.
